plans and directions for 2025

Dear Donors, Relatives, and Friends,

Following the tragic events of September 2023, involving the enemy’s invasion of Artsakh and the forceful displacement of people from their homeland, the Avetis Booloozian charity temporarily suspended its operations. First the organization had to re-register as a result of legal requirements in Armenia. During this period, the Armenian government took over the charitable programs aimed at providing scholarships for displaced students from Artsakh for the 2023-24 and 2024-25 school years. This prompted the Avetis Booloozian charity to consider other charitable initiatives.

After careful consultation, we have decided to allocate a portion of the funds generated in early 2025 to support the rehabilitation center established by Caroline Cox, which has been registered in Artsakh since 1998 and is now operational in Armenia.
The bank account for the “Avetis Booloozian” Charitable Non-Governmental Organization’s Scholarship Fund currently holds approximately $10 million drams. It should be noted that after the registration in Armenia, the organization’s bank account has been modified, and the new information is available on the booloozian.com website.

On behalf of the Booloozian family, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all our donors. Your contributions significantly impact our public service efforts, honoring the memory of our beloved son. May his soul find joy in heaven as he witnesses the charitable work being done in his name. This is a meaningful way to keep his memory alive.

Thank you,
Ara Booloozian
